1. What This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to Portal Network and its pages, tools, and features hosted as part of the Portal Network project. It follows the same general privacy principles used by other PortalNetwork projects, including Gravity Lab (the Physics Playground), while accounting for features specific to Portal Network.

Links from Portal Network may take you to separate PortalNetwork projects or third-party websites. Those services may have their own privacy policies, and this policy does not automatically apply to them.

2. Information We Process

• Information you enter: Text you enter into Portal Network features, such as the AI prompt box, is processed when you use that feature.
• AI requests: When you use the "Gibby AI" feature, information you submit may be processed by the services required to provide the feature. Do not enter passwords, private messages, financial information, or other sensitive information into the AI prompt.
• Browser data: Like most websites, your browser may provide basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and request information to services involved in delivering the site. These records may be controlled by those service providers.
• Local data: If Portal Network stores preferences or other functional information in your browser using mechanisms such as localStorage, that information remains on your device unless the site is specifically configured to transmit it elsewhere.
• Account forms: The current signup page is a visual/demo form and does not currently create an account or send the entered name, email, or password to a Portal Network database. Future account functionality may change this, and this policy will be updated before such functionality is used to collect account information.

3. How We Use Information

Information processed through Portal Network is used to:

• Provide and operate Portal Network features.
• Provide AI-powered features when requested.
• Maintain site security, reliability, and performance.
• Fix errors and improve the functionality of the site.

We do not sell your personal information or use it to build advertising profiles.

4. Cookies, Storage & Tracking

Portal Network does not intentionally use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels for behavioral advertising. The site may use browser storage for functional purposes where implemented.

Third-party resources embedded by the site, such as fonts, CDNs, external images, or other services, may receive normal network information when your browser requests those resources. Their handling of that information is governed by their own policies.

Portal Network may interact with third-party services when necessary to provide certain features or content. These providers may process technical information or information necessary to fulfill a request.

We do not control the privacy practices of third parties, so you should review their policies when appropriate.

6. Links to Other PortalNetwork Projects

Portal Network provides links to projects such as Gravity Lab, Voxel Toy Box, Neon Mandala, and other destinations. Visiting another project means you are subject to that project's applicable policies and data practices.

We use reasonable security measures appropriate to the nature of the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and information transmitted over the internet may be subject to risks outside our control.

You can stop using Portal Network at any time and clear site data stored by your browser through your browser's settings. You should also avoid submitting information to AI features that you would not want processed by the services required to provide them.

9. Children's Privacy

Portal Network is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe personal information was submitted to us through a feature that stores information, please contact PortalNetwork so the situation can be reviewed.

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when Portal Network gains new features, changes its infrastructure, or changes how information is handled. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
